✿ Lola's Dreamscape ✿

I stare at the reflection
As tears drip down her cheeks
Once she was full of life
Now there is only emptiness
She is among the fallen
Broken down by sadness
Unable to find beauty in life

I reach towards her
Hoping to pull her out
My fingertips touch her cheek
She is warm but faded
I lay my hand in hers
Offering the warmth of a touch
She smiles through cracked lips

I whisper hollow reassurances
Her eyes flicker with hidden sorrows
I place my arms around her
Our heartbeats finding each other
She tenses and then slowly breaks down
Shaking from her emotional overload
She clings to the shelter of my body

We have found comfort in each other
I can feel her sorrow as my own
She wrapped herself around me
Whispering softly in my ears
Her warm breath makes me shiver
I see my reflection in her eyes
She is the mirror into my soul
