✿ Lola's Dreamscape ✿

The Darkness soothes my mind
As the shadows flicker about
Everyone is  busy dreaming
While I lay wide awake

Contemplating endless possibilities
As the present gives way to the future
Lost in a sea of overwhelming choices
Not knowing which one to make

I look up at the infinite star filled sky
Wondering if I will ever find my purpose
Or will I wander this earth forever lost
The Night embraces my uncertainty

There is no revelation to be found
Tonight or any night it seems
I lay down on the cold ground
Gazing up at a the vastness of this world

Feeling so achingly insignificant
Realizing the loneliness of my life
I live in a world of endless possibilities
None of which have been revealed to me
