I close my eyes
When I open them
I am in a grassy field
The sun is shining down on me
I can hear the rush of water nearby
Feel the wind caress my skin
The sky is bright blue
I lie down on the earth
Feel my body sink into it
I smile for no reason at all
It's the best kind of smile
The warmth of the day reaches me
I feel peaceful and free
Today is a day to remember
I can smell the rain coming
One drop, Two drops...it is falling down on me
It's warm and then it becomes cool
I lie there as it washes over me
Cleansing me from the outside in
The earth underneath me melts at its touch
I open my mouth for a taste
The raindrops slide down my tongue...it's soothing
I'm soaking wet but I don't care
I rise up, and feel the weight of my clothes
I begin to run, wondering where I should go now
